Sunderland and Premier League newcomers Hull City have been warned a midfield target's price could soar during the World Cup. Maghreb Foot reports that Charleroi's Yacine Titraoui dreams of playing in the Premier League and does not want to play in any other league, is focused on Algeria duty, that Charleroi will not comment on his future before the tournament, and that his valuation could rise sharply if he impresses.
The midfielder impressed in Belgium last season and has been linked with Sunderland, with Hull also keen. He is preparing to face Jordan, Austria and Argentina at the World Cup finals over the next three weeks.
Sunderland are finalising summer plans to strengthen Regis Le Bris’ squad after the former Lorient boss led the club into European competition for only the second time in their history.
The Black Cats aim to compete on several fronts next season.
Further clarity around Titraoui’s future may only come after Algeria’s World Cup campaign.
