Sunderland stand firm on Wilson Isidor as West Ham ‘ask about’ Simon Adingra loan | OneFootball

Sunderland have ruled out selling Wilson Isidor this summer, despite strong interest in the Haiti international, and are weighing up a possible loan for Simon Adingra.

According to Sky Sports, West Ham are among clubs interested in Isidor. Sunderland have no intention of entertaining offers before their Premier League and Europa League campaigns.

Isidor remains central to Régis Le Bris' plans and Sunderland want to see whether he can build on an impressive World Cup.

The 25-year-old can play across the forward line and his pace, movement and pressing suit Le Bris' approach. His versatility should help as Sunderland juggle domestic and European schedules.

West Ham have also enquired about Adingra, asking to take the winger on loan, with discussions ongoing.

Adingra joined from Brighton and Hove Albion for around £20.5million last summer, struggled in the first half, then spent the second half on loan at Monaco. No agreement has been reached and any structure would matter given Sunderland's recent investment in the Ivory Coast international.
