Isidor remains in Régis Le Bris’s plans, despite Brian Brobbey often being preferred through the middle last season. The 25-year-old scored six Premier League goals and has previously received public backing from his head coach.

The Haiti international missed the recent pre-season win over Wrexham after flying back to England due to a personal issue. Le Bris said it was not believed to be serious, but it kept him out of the final game of the United States tour.

Any exit would force Sunderland to move for another striker before the window closes. Eliezer Mayenda has already been sold to Rennes, leaving Brobbey as the leading option as the club prepare for Premier League and European commitments. Sunderland would likely demand a significant permanent offer or strong financial guarantees in any loan before considering a deal.
