A revised supercomputer forecast has altered Leeds United’s survival picture, with ramifications for Tottenham, West Ham and Nottingham Forest. According to yorkshireeveningpost.co.uk, the CasinoHawks model has refreshed its predicted final table and points with seven games remaining.
Daniel Farke’s side entered the final round before the March international break three points above the relegation zone, ahead of West Ham and Forest. They could have moved six clear by beating Brentford on Saturday, but a goalless draw kept the cushion intact before two pivotal Sunday fixtures.
Tottenham hosted Forest and lost 0-3, lifting Forest above Spurs and to within one point of Leeds. West Ham were beaten 2-0 at Aston Villa, leaving the Irons third-bottom, one behind Tottenham, three off Forest and four shy of Leeds.
The updated CasinoHawks projection signals a Leeds change and suggests a potential relegation shock in its end-of-season outlook.
It now has Arsenal top on 87 points, up from 86. Manchester City follow on 78, with Manchester United on 71. Aston Villa are placed fourth on 65, up from sixth, Chelsea fifth on 61 and Liverpool sixth on 60, both down one place.
