Thomas Frank has given an update on the potential return from injury of both Pedro Porro and Richarlison.
Pedro picked up a hamstring issue in the first half of our 2-2 draw against Burnley in the Premier League on Saturday and was withdrawn at half-time at Turf Moor. Thomas reported earlier in the week that the full-back would be ‘out for four weeks’.
Meanwhile, Richarlison also suffered a hamstring injury in our FA Cup clash against Villa on 10 January, forcing him out of the action on 31 minutes. Thomas reported at the time that the striker could be out for ‘up to seven weeks’.
Speaking to the media at his pre-City press conference at Hotspur Way on Friday, Thomas was asked if Pedro and Richy could make it back for the north London derby on 22 February. “That could be a dream scenario, and it just could happen,” said Thomas. “We will know a little bit more when we get closer - but it's in that bracket.”
