FC Porto have confirmed the signing of 26-year-old striker Terem Moffi on Friday.
O Jogo reports that the agreement with Nice is a loan until the end of the season, with an €8m purchase option. If exercised, Nice would receive a further €250,000 if performance targets are met, plus 10% of any future profit from a sale.
Moffi returned to action in March last year after recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament rupture suffered in the 24/25 pre-season. This season he has scored three goals in 15 appearances for Nice, and faced Porto at the Dragão in the Europa League.
He has not played since late November following an incident with Nice supporters that culminated in an assault and racist insults towards him. He subsequently went on sick leave.
Although he has not been idle in the past two months, he will need to regain match sharpness before coming into Francesco Farioli’s plans.
