Thierry Correia may have ended his season after an early injury against Mallorca on Tuesday. He awaits test results, with one month left and his deal expiring on 30 June.

Since arriving in summer 2019 for €12 million, injuries have defined his Valencia spell. He has played 152 of 302 possible matches and 41% of available minutes. He also tore a cruciate ligament, costing him 571 days out, according to Transfermarkt.

Excluding wages, dividing his fee by minutes played equates to an average of €1,065 per minute.

His absence gives Carlos Corberán a headache, with only one right-back available because Foulquier will miss the rest of the season.

Saravia now emerges as first choice on the right, while Unai Núñez has filled in at times. Renzo debuted in Mallorca, playing 80 minutes and impressing overall.
