The LFP disciplinary commission confirmed a three-match ban for Nice’s Tom Louchet after his red card against Angers on Sunday, and two matches for Brest’s Ludovic Ajorque.
Louchet was dismissed in the 52nd minute of the 0-1 against Angers for a heavy challenge on Jacques Ekomié’s right ankle.
Ajorque was sent off around the hour in the 1-0 against Monaco on Friday, punished for an uncontrolled tackle on Lamine Camara after a VAR review.
Rennes defender Jérémy Jacquet received a one-match ban plus a further game suspended after his red card in the 0-5 against PSG on Saturday. Lyon’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles was given a one-match suspension in the 0-1 at Lorient on Sunday night.
Seven Ligue 1 players, sanctioned for a fifth booking, will miss their first Coupe de France tie in the round of 64 on 19, 20 and 21 December: Laurent Abergel (Lorient), Chidozie Awaziem (Nantes), Haris Belkebla (Angers), Pathé Mboup (Brest), Maxime Lopez (Paris FC), Antoine Mendy (Nice) and Jordan Teze (Monaco).
The commission has opened an investigation into Friday’s abandoned Ligue 2 match in Bastia against Red Star after a flare was thrown at a Red Star player. The case will be decided after the session on Monday 22 December 2025. Potential penalties include moving a match, resuming from the 56th minute or replaying it, awarding Bastia a defeat with or without a points deduction, and full or partial closures at Furiani.
