Popular actor Danny Dyer wants Tottenham Hotspur to be relegated at the end of the season so that West Ham United can bring Mohammed Kudus back to the club.
Tottenham have had a disappointing season so far, and they are fighting for survival in the Premier League. They have been quite mediocre in recent weeks, and they will need to raise their performance to secure safety in the top flight.
Kudus has been quite impressive since joining them, but he is sidelined with an injury.
The £55 million attacker was excellent for West Ham United as well, and it is no surprise that Dyer wants him back at the club.
When asked if he expects Tottenham to get relegated, Dyer said onThat Peter Crouch Podcast: “Yeah, I do. I don’t know where they get their points from. Unless they f*** this Tudor geezer off. I don’t see what changes.” He added: “It would be lovely, because if Tottenham go down with Kudus. Kudus, who jumped ship, f***** us off in a heartbeat. See ya later mate, in the Championship. Do you want to come back? Throw him a little bone out. Do you fancy coming back? We might suffer it.”
Even if Tottenham were to go down, it is extremely unlikely that the Ghana International will return to West Ham. He will have top clubs lining up for him in the summer. Meanwhile, West Ham is fighting for survival as well. It will be interesting to see if they can stay up at the end of the season.
Tottenham won the UEFA Europa League last season. Very few would have expected them to be in this position. They improved the team over the summer and were expected to push for Champions League qualification this season. Things have clearly not gone according to plan for them, and it remains to be seen whether they finish the season strongly.
