Transfer news LIVE!
The summer transfer window is back open for business as the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Liverpool all scramble to get more major signings over the line. Arsenal are now said to have struck a deal with Benjamin Sesko, while they could yet move for Morgan Rogers with Viktor Gyokeres reportedly willing to go on strike to force his own exit. However, they are likely to miss out on both Rodrygo and Nico Williams.
Chelsea are said to have made contact over Joao Pedro as they continue talks over Jamie Gittens and Mohammed Kudus, though face a battle for Malick Fofana with Liverpool, who will welcome Florian Wirtz today for his medical as they look to close an agreement for Milos Kerkez and plot an audacious bid for Alexander Isak. Manchester United are still pushing to land Bryan Mbeumo and have interest in Hugo Ekitike as well as Victor Osimhen.
Tottenham are now believed to have withdrawn their interest in Mbeumo as they target Eberechi Eze instead, while Leeds have seen a huge offer for Rodrigo Muniz rejected by Fulham. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

It looks like Arsenal have lost out to Barcelona on Nico Williams.
The Athletic Club and Spain star had been among the top targets for the Gunners as they seek a new winger as well as a striker this summer.
However, it was reported last week that Barcelona and Bayern Munich had become more likely next destinations for Williams if he were to leave San Mames in this window.
Fabrizio Romano now reports that the 22-year-old has agreed a six-year contract with Barca until 2031 worth around €7m/€8m per season.
The Catalans are said to remain working on an agreement over a transfer fee with Athletic.

Arsenal have not yet agreed a deal for Benjamin Sesko it would appear.
It seemed like the Gunners were finally getting closer to signing their top striker target after weeks of negotiations, having been said to have settled on personal terms.
However, Sky Germany insist there remains no agreement between the clubs, with RB Leipzig said to be demanding a fee of up to £85m for Sesko.

Florian Wirtz might not stay as Liverpool’s record signing for very long.
The Reds evidently have grand plans for the future after winning the Premier League title in Arne Slot’s first season and would reportedly love to make headlines again by bringing in Alexander Isak.
GiveMeSport claim that Liverpool refuse to give up on the Newcastle striker - a long-term target for Arsenal - and are prepared to make another massive bid to smash the British transfer record for the second time in quick succession.
Isak is said to be Liverpool’s “dream target” as they plot an offer worth over £100m with add-ons, though they apparently acknowledge that such a deal will be difficult to pull off.
An exit for Darwin Nunez could reportedly help fund a move for Isak, while they add that Milos Kerkez will also arrive at Anfield next week.

Get excited, Liverpool fans.
Confirmation is now arriving across the board this morning that Florian Wirtz is indeed travelling to Merseyside today at last.
Fabrizio Romano says his medical will be completed in the next 48 hours before he officially signs his five-year contract and all relevant documents are finalised.
Liverpool will then unveil their club-record signing.

Manchester United look to have been handed a huge new boost over Bryan Mbeumo.
The Cameroon international has become the major focus of transfer operations at Old Trafford following the early £62.5m summer deal for Wolves forward Matheus Cunha.
United are trying to close a deal with Brentford after seeing an opening bid worth a total of around £55m including add-ons rejected, though appeared to face a major new threat from Tottenham after they appointed Thomas Frank as their new manager.
However, journalist Rudy Galetti is among those to now report that Spurs have conceded defeat and withdrawn from the race for Mbeumo, who seemingly has only ever had eyes for United.

It’s Florian Wirtz day for Liverpool at long last.
The Reds have been patiently waiting for the arrival of the German forward after finally clinching a deal with Bayer Leverkusen last week that could be worth a British record £116m.
Wirtz has been on holiday since Germany’s recent appearance in the Nations League finals on home soil, pictured earlier this week with fellow Liverpool recruit from Leverkusen Jeremie Frimpong.
Sky Germany report that the 22-year-old will arrive on Merseyside today to undergo the first part of his medical, with the second stage to come on Friday.
He will sign a five-year contract until 2030 worth a cool £17.1m gross per season.

Chelsea have their eye on all of Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Mohammed Kudus with the summer transfer window now back open, reports claim.
The Blues failed to close a deal with Borussia Dortmund for England Under-21 winger Gittens before last week’s initial pre-Club World Cup deadline, while they have also been strongly linked to West Ham forward Kudus and Pedro at Brighton.
News of Chelsea making contact over Pedro - strongly courted by Newcastle for around £60m - comes from Fabrizio Romano, while The Guardian claim that they are prioritising Gittens as their top target but have also held further talks over Kudus and Pedro.
They are also said to be interested in Lyon’s Malick Fofana - more on him in a moment - in addition to Hugo Ekitike and Xavi Simons.

Another day, another new twist on the Benjamin Sesko to Arsenal transfer front.
The Gunners have been pushing for weeks now to strike a deal with RB Leipzig for the Slovenian striker and yesterday it was suggested that they had agreed personal terms.
It has since been claimed that Sesko’s camp are trying to force Leipzig into lowering their asking price this summer - an accusation strongly refuted by the player’s agent.
“This is far from truth,” Elvis Basanovic told GiveMeSport.
“We respect RB Leipzig and I am 100 per cent convinced RB Leipzig will also respect our decision for the next step when we decide to do it.
“Even if there may be – or will be – a strong desire of the player to move to a certain club, we will never force or blackmail RB Leipzig.
“I believe this is not the right way, because the way you actually exit from the club shows your values. Values that you are bringing into a new club
“I can understand in very big transfers, there are a lot of different interests but no matter what, I believe in football world should be more respect.
“So that’s why we do things in the right way or we don’t do them. It’s very simple, even maybe in the media it looks very complicated.”
He added that Sesko would only move when they “recognise a special club, a special project with a special coach”, insisting that a transfer could happen “next week… or next year, or in three years.”

Chris Wilder has been sacked by Sheffield United.
The Championship club confirmed on Wednesday that Wilder, who returned to the club for a second stint two years ago, has been relieved of his duties at Bramall Lane after he failed to get the Blades promoted back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Sheffield United lost to Sunderland 2-1 in the play-off final at Wembley.
