Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold has taken to social media on Friday, to send a message of encouragement the way of the club’s supporters.
This of course comes fresh off the Englishman being condemned to a fresh spell on the sidelines.
Defender Alexander-Arnold was for his part in from the off earlier this week, as Real Madrid made the trip to Bilbao for a La Liga meeting with Athletic Club.
After impressing across the opening 45 minutes, and even laying on his first assist in Spanish football, however, the former Liverpool man’s evening took a turn for the worse on the far side of the half-time break.
After pulling up suddenly with a fitness complaint, Alexander-Arnold was quickly hauled off by Xabi Alonso.
The 27-year-old was put through an ensuing round of medical tests on Thursday, which confirmed a muscular injury which looks set to keep him away from the pitch for an extended period.
Amid a difficult 48 hours on an individual level, though, TAA has since moved to reassure the Blancos faithful.
In a post on his official Instagram account on Friday, Alexander-Arnold wrote:
‘Absolutely gutted about this one. The timing of it hurts but I will work hard to come back stronger and better! See you in 2026 Madridistas’
