Valencia face fresh absences as Corberán prepares for derby | OneFootball

Carlos Corberán is dealing with several absences for the derby, with Copete suspended for an accumulation of bookings and Julen, Diakhaby and Foulquier injured. Others could yet join that list.

Marca states that Corberán has again tested Unai Núñez at right-back and worked with Diego López and Ramazani on the flanks.

Thierry Rendall did not train with the group, so only Saturday’s session remains for him to rejoin, if fit. The full-back recently returned from a left hamstring issue and featured against Real Madrid, but discomfort prevented him from working with the group.

Even so, the Portuguese and the injured Danjuma completed continuous running on the pitch.

André Almeida also missed the main session, staying in the gym as a precaution due to gastroenteritis. He could be in contention on Sunday.
