Vasco have announced the signing of Hinestroza from Atlético Nacional. The 23-year-old becomes their third addition for 2026 after Rojas and Saldivia, on a four-year deal to December 2029.
Globo.com reports that Atlético Nacional accepted a bid of around US$ 5 million, roughly R$ 30 million, for 80% of the forward’s economic rights. The offer beat Boca Juniors, who had been close to an agreement before Vasco entered talks.

Hinestroza impressed in the most recent Conmebol Libertadores, making seven appearances, scoring once and providing three assists.
He previously had a brief spell in Brazil with Palmeiras’ youth ranks.
Vasco also expect to announce forward Brenner from Udinese soon.
Head coach Fernando Diniz wants the pair available for Thursday’s Brasileirão opener against Mirassol.
