Ismaël Bennacer has taken a significant step forward in his recovery process. The Algerian international midfielder resumed training with Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday evening, several weeks after suffering an injury during a league match against Osijek.
Injured at the end of January, the player was forced to leave the pitch early after starting the match. Since that incident, Bennacer has been following a treatment and rehabilitation program to regain his full physical fitness.
His gradual return is excellent news for Algeria head coach Vladimir Petkovic ahead of the upcoming international break in March, although Dinamo Zagreb is expected to manage his reintegration carefully before an official return to competition.
