Vic Albuquerque made her 250th appearance for Corinthians during the midweek win over Gotham FC, a match that also delivered the women’s team’s first Club World Cup victory.
According to Meu Timao, the club highlighted the landmark on social media, praising her commitment and dedication across 250 games.
The all-time leading scorer for Corinthians came off the bench at 44 minutes of the second half, replacing Jaqueline. With little time remaining, she was unable to influence the contest.
She will have the opportunity to make an impact on Sunday against Arsenal in the final of the Copa das Campeãs.
Vic joined Corinthians in 2019 from Audax aged 21. Across her first three years she averaged about 0.5 goals per game. She left at the end of 2021 for Madrid CFF, then returned six months later and remains part of the squad.
With 121 goals, 18 titles and 250 matches, Vic is fourth on the club’s all-time appearances list, behind Gabi Zanotti, Paulinha and Grazi. Paulinha departed at the end of last year after her contract was not renewed, while Grazi has been retired since 2023.
