Corinthians beat Ferroviária on penalties and advanced to the grand final of the Women’s Libertadores. The final will be against Deportivo Cali and has a special element: whoever wins secures a spot in the first women’s club world tournament, something highlighted by Vic Albuquerque after the qualification.

About today’s match (against Ferroviária), I think it says a lot about what we’ve been doing, missing many chances. After getting through a group with Independiente Dragonas, Always Ready, and Independiente Santa Fe, and eliminating Boca Juniors and Ferroviária in the knockouts, Corinthians are chasing their sixth Libertadores title.
