Victor Henrique de Oliveira Shimada sanctioned by US, probed in Corinthians-VaideBet money-laundering case | OneFootball

Victor Henrique de Oliveira Shimada has been sanctioned by the United States over an alleged laundering network linked to the PCC, and he features in a Brazilian probe into suspected diversion of VaideBet sponsorship funds involving Corinthians.

According to Globo.com, he is the sole partner of Victory Trading Intermediação de Negócios, Cobrança e Tecnologia Ltda., which was added to OFAC’s sanctions list. He is alleged to have led from São Paulo a scheme that worked with PCC figures in Florida and moved more than $30 million via cryptocurrencies.

In Brazil, a complaint accepted by a court says Victory Trading moved funds with Wave Intermediações e Tecnologias Ltda. Records outline flows from Corinthians via Rede Social Media Design and Neoway to Wave, then to UJ Football Talent.

Shimada has been charged with money laundering, accused of acting as a financial operator for a company used in part to conceal funds. A São Paulo Civil Police report cites suspicious transfers between Wave and Victory Trading, including R$ 3.38 million on 12 March 2024 and R$ 13.6 million between 26 and 28 March.

The report notes crypto transactions and financial links among Victory Trading, Wave and UJ Football Talent, but does not state that Shimada is a PCC member, placing him instead within a connected financial flow. Also sanctioned was Stella Stefanie Nunes Henrique de Oliveira, and Shimada later faced house arrest in January 2025 in a case involving Votorantim. He also faces other unrelated cases.
