Villarreal star to miss Juventus clash for Yom Kippur | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Villarreal will be without the services of a member of the club’s attacking ranks for their upcoming showdown with Italian giants Juventus.

The player in question? Manor Solomon.

Wide-man Solomon for his part linked up with Villarreal earlier this summer, in a loan move from Tottenham Hotspur.

And over the last couple of weeks, the Israeli had begun to showcase his unquestionable talents, by way of a goal and an assist across his last three appearances.

In turn, it will come as a blow to those of a Villarreal persuasion to learn that Solomon will not be at the disposal of manager Marcelino on Wednesday.

The Yellow Submarine are primed to return to action later this evening, in a Champions League clash with the aforementioned Juventus.

Taking to his official Instagram account this afternoon, however, Solomon confirmed that he will play no part, owing to the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur.
