Wallace Yan remains at Flamengo after a proposed move to Red Bull Bragantino stalled, and he has pledged to stay focused following a supporter’s message.
According to Coluna Do Fla, the clubs initially aligned on a fee of about 10 million euros, roughly R$ 62 million, in early January, before Bragantino sought to make half of it performance-related, prompting Flamengo to step away.
During the saga, the forward even bid farewell on social media, then later posted a house and heart emoji to signal he would stay at the club that developed him.
A Flamengo fan urged him to concentrate on the professional set-up, commit daily and plan his life with support such as a psychologist, physiotherapist and personal trainer.
Wallace Yan replied that he is working hard, believes in his ability and told supporters to expect him at his prime, aiming for major improvement on and off the pitch, with constant dedication.
He is currently training at Ninho do Urubu, separate from the first-team group.
