Wesley stirs Corinthians fans with social media hints, club denies talks

Wesley, a Corinthians academy graduate now at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia, sparked excitement among supporters with Instagram activity over the weekend.

According to Globo.com, the 20-year-old posted an image of himself at Neo Química Arena, set to Filipe Ret’s track "Louco para voltar". He also archived previous posts, leaving a single picture of him kissing a Corinthians shirt.

After the reaction, he changed the photo on Sunday.

Wesley is under contract with Al-Nassr until June 2028. He has featured regularly this season, with 18 appearances since the campaign began last year, scoring four goals and providing two assists.

Corinthians are seeking to add forwards in the current window, but the club says there are no negotiations under way with Wesley at present.
