West Brom will take a bumper following to Ewood Park for their Bank Holiday Monday relegation clash after another rise in the away allocation. According to ExpressAndStar.com, Albion received a further 100 tickets on Wednesday morning, made available to season ticket holders.

The initial batch sold out quickly, and the club asked Blackburn to open the upper section of the away end behind one goal, which is usually closed for most matches.

Blackburn agreed, irritating some home fans, and Albion then sold out that extra allocation too, meaning James Morrison’s side will be backed by just under 7,400 supporters on Monday.

Home fans also objected when Blackburn advertised a hospitality package in the away section for travelling Albion supporters.

Reaction on social media was mixed, with some saying it felt a risk against a relegation rival and others questioning why the visitors had the full away end.
