James Morrison has made three changes to West Brom’s line-up for the final Championship match at Sheffield Wednesday. According to ExpressAndStar.com, it is his first game since being confirmed as permanent head coach on a two-year contract, and Albion are aiming to extend their unbeaten run to 11.

One switch is enforced, with Jayson Molumby out due to a minor muscle strain. Nat Phillips and Daryl Dike drop to the bench, as Ollie Bostock, Alfie Gilchrist and Josh Maja come into the XI.

Teenage winger Bostock has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign and is rewarded with a final-day start. Gilchrist last started in the draw at Southampton on March 11, when a first win under Morrison slipped away in the final minute. He impressed at centre-back but later lost his place to Phillips, who has since thrived with George Campbell.

Maja starts ahead of Dike and this could be his farewell appearance, with both forwards out of contract. Club captain Jed Wallace returns from a calf issue to take a place on the bench, which might prove his final outing as an Albion player.

Attacking midfielder Souleyman Mandey, a 20-year-old Austrian who has impressed for the under-21s, makes the bench for the first time. Hillsborough is in party mood as home fans mark new ownership and a new era under businessman David Storch.

Albion, set up in a four-four-two, start: O’Leary, Imray, Gilchrist, Campbell, Styles, Bostock, Mowatt, Diakite, Price, Heggebo, Maja. Substitutes: Griffiths, Taylor, Phillips, Mandey, Bany, Wallace, Grant, Sule, Dike.
