The club said in a statement that Nuno Espirito Santo will remain in charge next season as West Ham prepare for the Championship following Sunday’s relegation.
Despite beating Leeds 3-0 on the final day, the Hammers finished 18th in the Premier League.
It will be their first season in the second tier since 2011-12. The board issued an apology to supporters for the campaign and outlined plans for a swift return.
The message expressed hope of a Premier League comeback in August 2027, with a more effective West Ham on and off the pitch.
Santo, appointed mid-season to replace Graham Potter, met the hierarchy early this week. His retention reflects recent improvement in results, cohesion and mentality.
Season-ticket prices will be cut by 30% for the coming campaign. The club are targeting immediate promotion.
