Who is City’s Divine Mukasa? | OneFootball

Divine Mukasa will make his competitive senior debut this evening in City's Carabao Cup clash with Huddersfield.

It's our first outing in the cup competition in 2025/26, with Mukasa named alongside five Academy graduates.

His competitive debut follows on from his first senior outing under Pep Guardiola back in August, when he featured as a substitute in City's pre-season friendly against Palermo.

The 18-year-old midfielder joined us in September 2023 from West Ham United and impressed immediately, shining on our way to FA Youth Cup success at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

He backed that up last season with 41 games across all competitions, with 16 goals and 15 assists in just 20 games in the U18 Premier League.

A technical, creative and physically imposing player, Mukasa added a prolific edge to his game over the course of 2024/25.

He even claimed a hat-trick in the 7-1 U18 Premier League win over Newcastle United in November 2024.

There were also braces against Nottingham Forest, Stoke City, Leeds United and Wolves.

Last term also included his first run outs in the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy.

He is also experienced at youth level in international football, having represented England at the U16, U17 and U18 age groups.
