Wolves have sacked head coach Rob Edwards and are set to appoint Cesar Peixoto as his replacement.
According to ExpressAndStar.com, Edwards was told on Thursday morning over the phone while he was abroad on holiday.

Peixoto currently manages Portuguese side Gil Vicente. The 46-year-old has worked only within the Portuguese league system.
The decision comes in the same week Wolves announced the signings of Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez.
It is understood the 43-year-old had been working on Wolves’ summer recruitment plans and did not expect the call.
Peixoto is represented by Jorge Mendes’ Gestifute agency, which has close ties to Wolves owners Fosun.
