Lacking an eligible stadium, Sao Tome and Principe has requested FIFA to relocate its last two qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup to Tunisia.

The request was approved by the world football governing body. As a result, Sao Tome and Principe will host the Carthage Eagles at the Hamadi Agrebi Stadium in Rades on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 16:00 GMT, as part of matchday nine.

Three days later, they will face Malawi at the Olympic Stadium in Sousse at 13:00 GMT, which is the same time as the Tunisia vs Namibia match taking place in Rades.

It should be noted that Sao Tome and Principe is already out of contention, sitting last in Group H after losing all eight of its qualifying matches.
