Arsenal agree deal with Brentford for Christian Nørgaard | OneFootball

Arsenal have reached an agreement with Brentford over the signing of Danish international midfielder Christian Nørgaard, (31) according to Foot Mercato.

The 31-year-old, who has spent five seasons with the Bees, is set to make the move across London for a reported fee of €11m. With the Gunners preparing for the departures of both Jorginho and Thomas Partey this summer, Nørgaard has been identified as an experienced and cost-effective solution in midfield.

Negotiations between the two clubs accelerated earlier today, and a deal has now reportedly been struck. Arsenal are currently finalising the contractual details with the player, who is said to be keen on the move. A medical is expected to take place in the coming days.Nørgaard featured in 35 Premier League games last season and contributed six goals, registering four assists from midfield.
