AS Roma are set to host Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico this Sunday in what will be their final Serie A game before the November international break.
Roma aim to claim all three points to maintain their strong run and remain competitive in the Serie A title race.
Paulo Dybala remains sidelined with a left thigh injury, which he suffered during the recent loss to AC Milan, and is projected to be out of action for about three weeks. Meanwhile, striker Evan Ferguson has been called up by the Republic of Ireland despite recently recovering from a sprained ankle, sustained in the match against Parma.
Spanish wing-back Angeliño is also absent, as he continues individual training separate from the main squad. Additionally, midfielder Nicolò Bove is out due to illness, further limiting Roma’s midfield depth.
On a positive note, Matías Soulé is eager to make an impact after being left out of Argentina’s recent squad, despite having delivered notable performances this season with four goals and two assists over 14 appearances.
Moreover, head coach Gian Piero Gasperini was honoured as Serie A’s Coach of the Month for October, a recognition spurred by Roma’s impressive trio of victories over Fiorentina, Sassuolo, and Parma.
Possible AS Roma starting XI: Svilar; Hermoso, Mancini, Ndicka; Celik, Kone, Cristante, Wesley; Soule, Pellegrini; Dovbyk.
The match will kick off at 5pm BST on Sunday, 9th November.
For viewers in the UK, the match broadcast will be available on DAZN UK.
