Giacomo Raspadori will be Gian Piero Gasperini’s first signing since the January transfer window.
According to expert Matteo Moretto, there have been new contacts between Roma and Atlético Madrid, and an agreement is increasingly close.

The former Napoli striker will join the Giallorossi on loan with an option to buy.
Once the agreement between the two clubs is formalized, Roma will need to reach a financial agreement with the player.
Raspadori, who moved to Madrid this summer with Napoli, has already given his approval to Roma.
However, before bringing the player to the capital, the Giallorossi club still needs to resolve the contractual situation with the 2000-born player.
Once everything is finalized, the Azzurri striker will be able to join Trigoria and become the first signing to strengthen the Giallorossi attack.
Meanwhile, Roma is also working on Joshua Zirkzee from Manchester United.
