Axel Disasi would rather head to Turkey than Saudi Arabia with both transfer windows still open according to reports.

Chelsea have been unable to move Disasi on this summer despite the 27-year-old being for sale from the start of the window.

Disasi spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he made ten appearances for Unai Emery’s side, but they opted against making the move permanent.

Axel Disasi would prefer Turkey over Saudi Arabia

Disasi attracted interest from clubs in England such as Bournemouth and West Ham, but moves to neither club worked out.

The Frenchman also saw a loan move to Monaco collapse, whilst Disasi is believed to have turned down three Premier League loans on deadline day.

Saudi side Neom are considering another approach for the France international, whilst Besiktas are also said to be pursuing a move for Disasi.

Disasi faces the prospect of playing no football in January, although windows in Turkey and Saudi Arabia are still open.

However, he might have made a transfer decision, and Give Me Sport have reported the defender would prefer a move to Turkey over Saudi Arabia.

The former Monaco man has made 61 appearances for the Blues since joining from the Ligue 1 outfit, and scored six goals, but is unlikely to appear for the club again.

Raheem Sterling happy to wait at Chelsea

Unlike Disasi, Sterling isn’t thought to be open to moving to Turkey or Saudi Arabia, and is happy to wait at Chelsea and bide his time.

Sterling reportedly had interest from as many as five clubs, but the Blues didn’t receive any offers for the 30-year-old on deadline day.

It’s believed Chelsea are reluctant to pay Sterling off, although the topic has yet to be discussed between all parties.

Sterling is now set to remain at Chelsea training on his own until at earliest January, when the Blues will be hoping to find a solution.
