Barcelona are putting together their transfer strategy for the summer, and there is a growing belief inside the club that this window could finally allow them to act with more freedom.
A fresh update from El Chiringuito TV claims that four names have now been shortlisted as part of the club’s wider planning.
The players being looked at are Yan Diomande, Bernardo Silva, Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella, each offering a different solution depending on how the squad shapes up in the coming months.
The key factor behind this planning is financial. Inside Barcelona, there is real confidence that the club will return to La Liga’s 1:1 Financial Fair Play rule.
If that happens, it would be a huge boost, allowing them to sign players without the strict limits that have held them back in recent windows.
At the top of Barcelona’s wishlist remain Julian Alvarez and Alessandro Bastoni.
However, the sporting department is not relying on just those two deals. They are building backup plans, and that is where the four shortlisted names come in.
Diomande is one of the most interesting profiles being tracked, as Barcelona have been following his progress closely and believe he could add real energy to the wide areas.
Still, despite the strong interest, a deal is not seen as realistic for now due to the overall cost involved.

Bernardo Silva is a different case. The Manchester City midfielder is expected to leave at the end of the season, and his desire to play for Barcelona has been known for some time.
However, the club has not yet taken a final call, as they continue to assess priorities and finances.
Dumfries, meanwhile, presents a market opportunity.
Barcelona are not actively searching for a right-back, but his €25 million release clause makes him an attractive option.
For a player with his experience and physical presence, that price is considered reasonable, which is why his name remains under discussion.
Finally, the situation at left-back could open the door for Cucurella. Barcelona are only considering a move in that position if Alejandro Balde leaves.
The Spaniard has interest from other clubs, and if he decides to move on, Cucurella would be one of the main options to replace him.
Overall, Barcelona are preparing for different scenarios, making sure they are ready to act once their financial situation becomes clearer.
