Barcelona star receives transfer approach from La Liga rivals | OneFootball

A member of the midfield ranks at Barcelona this week came in for a transfer approach on the part of one of the club’s La Liga rivals.

That’s according to RAC1, who point towards Marc Casadó as the player in question.

Youngster Casadó has of course seen his name reemerge as a central one in the headlines in Catalunya’s capital across the week to date.

This comes after word was forthcoming that, amid mounting interest in his signature from across the continent, Barcelona would be open to the 21-year-old’s sale at the right price.

The likes of West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, in turn, have been tipped as potential landing spots for Casadó.

And as alluded to above, over the last few days, the deep-lying midfielder was also the recipient of a proposal from altogether closer to home.

As per a report from the aforementioned RAC1:

‘Girona have requested the loan of Marc Casadó from Barça. Neither for Barça nor for the player is it an option. Barça do not want to let him go and would only consider a good transfer if he wanted to leave.’
