FC Bayern are working flat out on their attacking options for the coming season. Following the departure of on-loan player Nicolas Jackson, there are growing indications that the Munich club are looking to add to their ranks in the summer – and the list of names being discussed is becoming increasingly prominent
Director of Sport Max Eberl recently confirmed that the option to buy Nicolas Jackson will not be exercised. The Senegalese will therefore return to Chelsea FC. It is also clear that Bayern need a new attacking player who can stimulate the competition and at the same time provide relief for Harry Kane, Michael Olise and Luis Díaz
Bayern are apparently continuing to keep a close eye on Anthony Gordon of Newcastle United, with the England international seen internally as the ideal solution in attack
The 25-year-old impresses with his pace, aggression and versatility. Gordon can play on both wings and has exactly the dynamism that Vincent Kompany values for his transitional play
However, the transfer fee remains problematic. Newcastle are reportedly demanding around 90 million euros – a sum that currently seems far too high for Bayern. Nevertheless, the two clubs are said to have already been in contact. Gordon himself can apparently imagine a move to Munich

Charles De Ketelaere currently appears to be a much more realistic prospect, with the Belgian from Atalanta Bergamo apparently being discussed more and more internally
Transfer insider Sacha Tavolieri recently reported that De Ketelaere is basically open to a move to FC Bayern. kicker also confirms that De Ketelaere is definitely an issue at Säbener Straße. According to Sport BILD, however, the trail to Munich is not so hot
The 25-year-old would be particularly interesting because of his flexibility. De Ketelaere can play as a ten-man, on the wing or even in the center of attack. It is precisely this variable profile that Bayern are currently looking for
What’s more, the Belgian would be significantly cheaper than Gordon, whose current market value is around 35 million euros
Dusan Vlahovic is also once again being linked with the record champions. At the beginning of the week, reports made the rounds that Bayern had met with the attacker’s father. The Serbian international could leave Juventus Turin on a free transfer in the summer
According to the Italian media, contract talks with Juve are still at a standstill, mainly due to the 26-year-old’s high salary demands
Vlahovic has been a candidate for Bayern for years and would be particularly interesting due to the lack of a transfer fee. However, the attacker would probably demand an enormous salary

In addition to the prominent candidates, Munich are apparently also monitoring several promising players
William Osula from Newcastle United is one of them. The 22-year-old Dane has an interesting profile with his height of 1.91 meters and his pace. However, a high transfer fee of around 46 million euros is also said to be on the table
Ajax talent Mika Godts is also still being monitored. The Belgian has impressed this season with a strong 29 scoring points in 30 league games. According to BILD, however, the 20-year-old is more of an extended candidate
A possible transfer of Bradley Barcola, on the other hand, appears more complicated. PSG would probably only let the French international move for a sum in the region of 90 million euros – similar to Newcastle for Gordon
One thing is clear: Bayern are sounding out the market intensively and examining different profiles
While Gordon is seen as the ideal solution, players such as De Ketelaere or Vlahovic could become much more attractive economically. At the same time, Munich are careful not to let the salary structure explode any further.
