Borussia Dortmund to battle Bayern Munich for Anderlecht talent Nathan de Cat – BVB also interested in AIK’s Kevin Filling | OneFootball

Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund will battle Bayern Munich for Anderlecht midfielder Nathan de Cat, as well as trying to sign another striker from Sweden.

The 17-year-old has recently been linked with Bayern, but Dortmund are also interested in bringing the midfielder to Germany. de Cat is currently at the under-17 World Cup with Belgium, but is a continued feature in the starting 11 for Anderlecht’s senior side. 

de Cat has featured 19 times for Les Mauves in all competitions and can not only play as a midfielder but also as a defensive option. 

Dortmund’s interest in a Swedish attacker:

It is not just de Cat that BVB are interested in. AIK striker Kevin Filling is of interest to die Schwarzgelben. 

The 16-year-old is already playing for IFK in the Swedish first division, with two goals in nine games. Filling would follow a similar path to Alexander Isak, who also swapped AIK for Dortmund, but struggled to establish himself.

However, if Filling moves to Germany, he will likely either spend time in the club’s academy or be sent out on loan.
