CBF confirms Neo Química Arena for Corinthians v Fluminense in Brasileiro Feminino | OneFootball

The CBF confirmed that Corinthians’ Brasileiro Feminino round-two fixture against Fluminense will be staged at Neo Química Arena on Friday 20 February at 21:30.

The game initially lacked a venue because Fazendinha, at Parque São Jorge, is barred from hosting matches after 18:00 due to lighting issues.

The club is in talks with a partner company to refurbish the ground so night matches can return. Works are estimated at around R$ 10 million, a figure considered high amid a financial crisis and debt close to R$ 3 billion.

Corinthians’ women have a formidable record at Neo Química Arena. Since 2016 they have played 29 times there, winning 27 and drawing two for a 95.4 percent points return. They have scored 74 and conceded 16, averages of 2.55 and 0.55 per game.

In 2025 at the stadium, they beat Cruzeiro 1-0 in the Brasileiro Feminino final, with Thaís Ferreira scoring, to lift their seventh title. On 4 December 2025 they defeated São Paulo 2-1 through Duda Sampaio and Jaqueline to reach the Campeonato Paulista final, which Palmeiras later won.

Before facing Fluminense, Lucas Piccinato’s side open the 2026 campaign on Friday at 21:00 against Atlético Mineiro at Arena MRV in Belo Horizonte.
