Cesar Peixoto is due at Wolves’ Compton training ground on Friday morning to finalise his appointment as head coach. According to ExpressAndStar.com, he will take charge after leaving Portuguese side Gil Vicente.
The 46-year-old is already in the country and is set to sign on arrival to take over the Championship club.

Rob Edwards was sacked over the phone on Thursday morning after leaks on social media revealed Wolves’ move for Peixoto.
Some senior staff at Wolves were unaware of the change, while chairman Nathan Shi and Fosun chairman and co-founder Guo Guangchang worked with Jorge Mendes and his Gestifute agency to secure the agreement.
An unveiling of Peixoto as Wolves’ head coach is likely to follow soon.
