Nicolas Jackson is unhappy at Bayern Munich, where the move he pushed so hard for has turned predictably sour after less than a season.

Chelsea’s season is about to reach its critical moment, but some are already looking to the summer ahead.

Nicolas Jackson is a problem which is going to come round again. He was loaned out to Bayern Munich this season, but things haven’t gone well for him there. SportBild’s latest report on him is full of detail. The German giants are waltzing to the title and everyone is all smiles – apart from Jackson.

“One Bayern star is dissatisfied – and he’s all alone in his opinion! While harmony and dreams of a treble dominate at FC Bayern before the season’s final stretch, one name stands out: Nicolas Jackson,” their piece reads.

Jackson not impressing on the bench, the pitch or in training

“Jackson….is struggling with being on the bench,” they continue.

“[His] performance so far has fallen short of expectations. In 21 appearances, he has five goals and one assist – not bad numbers, but too few for a club with such high ambitions… He also reportedly failed to make an impact in training in recent weeks.”

We’re not sure what Jackson expected this season. He wanted that move, and even forced it through when Chelsea tried to cancel it.

Did he think he was going to play ahead of Harry Kane? It was always a huge gamble to assume he was going to be a regular in a side packed with stars.

In other news…

There have been the first whispers this week about Alejandro Garnacho potentially leaving Chelsea this summer, although we’re not as convinced as some that will be easy to pull off.
