The winners of this game go on to face either AC Milan or Lazio in the quarter-final.

There is no extra time at this stage, so if the teams are level after 90 minutes, they go straight into a penalty shoot-out.

The Rossoblu lifted the Coppa Italia last season, in a remarkable event that saw them win this silverware for the first time in 52 years.

Vincenzo Italiano’s men had been on a roll, unbeaten in all competition since the 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa on September 25, amassing seven victories and five draws.

However, that ended with Monday’s surprise 3-1 home defeat to Cremonese, sealed by a Jamie Vardy brace.

Lukasz Skorupski, Remo Freuler and Martin Vitik are still out of action, but Ciro Immobile returns to the squad for the first time since a serious thigh strain on August 23.

Parma eliminated Pescara and then needed penalties to see off Spezia in the previous rounds of the Coppa Italia.

Elia Plicco was sent off in that game and is therefore suspended, with Zion Suzuki, Abdoulaye Ndiaye, Alessandro Circati and Matija Frigan injured.

The Ducali were beaten 2-0 at home by Udinese at the weekend, leaving them hovering just one point above the relegation zone.

There’s a debut for new goalkeeper Vicente Guaita, and a start for promising USMNT talent Benja Cremaschi.
