Corinthians futsal keeper injured, out until next season

In the early evening of this Wednesday (3), Corinthians Futsal goalkeeper Lucas Oliveira used his social media to announce that he suffered a fracture in the right maxillary sinus and the right pterygoid process and is only expected to return to the courts next season, as he stated in his post.

“With this, I am out of the second game of the Paulista Championship final, and it is also very unlikely that I will be in the finals of the National League,” he said. The injury occurred in the classic against Magnus, on the night of last Tuesday (2), during the first leg of the Paulista Futsal Championship final.

Lucas Oliveira has been one of the standout players for Corinthians in the sport during the 2025 season, being decisive in the solid campaigns in the Paulista Championship and the National Futsal League (LNF), being one of the team leaders alongside Deives. Earlier this year, the goalkeeper had already suffered an injury that kept him off the courts until the first week of July.

In light of this, coach Fernando Malafaia has two alternatives to replace him: Kelvin and Vitor Koji. The Alvinegro will return to the courts this Saturday (6), at 11 am (Brasília time), to face Magnus in the second game of the Paulista Championship final. The two LNF final games against Jaraguá will take place on December 9 (Tuesday) and 13 (Saturday), with the first leg being held at Parque São Jorge.

Since joining Corinthians in 2022, Lucas Oliveira has accumulated 145 games, with 80 wins, 27 draws, and 38 losses – a 61.3% success rate, with three titles won: National League (2022), Paulista Championship (2022), SP Cup (2025), and Mucho Más International Tournament in Spain.
