In the late afternoon of this Wednesday (11th), Corinthians officially announced the arrival of midfielder Allan, 28, on loan from Flamengo until the end of the season. The deal includes a purchase option of around two million euros (a little over R$ 12 million). The player is the team's fifth reinforcement for this year. Previously, they signed: defender Gabriel Paulista, right-back Pedro Milans, midfielder Matheus Pereira, and forward Kaio César.

At Corinthians, Allan arrives to compete for the position of first midfielder, which currently has Raniele as the undisputed starter. The athlete's arrival was significantly influenced by coach Dorival Júnior. According to statements from the player himself, they discussed a possible move to Parque São Jorge over the phone, which facilitated the negotiations.

Moments after his official announcement, the player was registered in the Daily Information Bulletin (BID) and can now make his debut for Corinthians. Amidst a high number of games in a short period, Allan is expected to be frequently called upon throughout this season, as the Alvinegro will compete in: Conmebol Libertadores, Brazilian Championship, Paulista Championship, and Copa do Brasil.

Allan's Career, the New Corinthians Reinforcement

Revealed in Internacional's youth system, midfielder Allan has experience in foreign clubs, having played in Finland, Belgium, Germany, Cyprus, and England. In 2019, he returned to Brazil to play for Fluminense, then managed by Fernando Diniz. Later, in 2020, he was acquired by Atlético-MG, where he stayed until 2022, winning the Campeonato Mineiro (2020, 2021, and 2022), Copa do Brasil (2021), and Brazilian Championship (2021).

Since 2023, he was at Flamengo, but in recent months, he lost his place in Filipe Luís's team and was consequently placed on the transferable list. In 2026, he played only once for the Rubro-Negro. At the Rio de Janeiro team, he won the state championship (2024 and 2025), Copa do Brasil (2024), Brasileirão (2025), and Conmebol Libertadores (2025).
