Corinthians have signed midfielder Allan, 28, on a season-long loan from Flamengo, announced on Wednesday. According to Meu Timao, Corinthians will pay his full wages, there is no fee to Flamengo, and the deal includes an option to buy for two million euros, around R$ 12.3 million.

He has been registered in the Boletim Informativo Diário and is eligible to make his debut on Thursday against Red Bull Bragantino in the third round of the Brasileirão.

Allan trained with the squad and is available to the coaching staff. He said joining Corinthians had long been a dream and that achieving it after years in the game was very satisfying.

Since Maycon’s departure at the end of 2025, coach Dorival Júnior has sought more options in midfield. Corinthians pursued São Paulo’s Alisson in January, but financial issues prevented a deal.

Developed at Internacional, Allan has played in Finland, Belgium, Germany and Cyprus. In Brazil he featured for Fluminense, Atlético-MG, where he enjoyed his best spell, and Flamengo, with whom he won the Brasileiro and the Libertadores last season.

He is Corinthians’ sixth addition for 2026, following centre-back Gabriel Paulista, full-backs Pedro Milans and Fabrizio Angileri, midfielder Matheus Pereira and forward Kaio César. The club also have an agreement in place for the arrival of playmaker Zakaria Labyad.
