Crystal Palace are away from Selhurst Park on Sunday afternoon, looking to reignite their faltering campaign as they face Brighton & Hove Albion in the M23 derby.
The Eagles head into the contest desperately searching for three points after a winless stretch.
Meanwhile, Brighton arrive equally eager to rediscover consistency after their own frustrating run of results.
The host’s formidable home record means Palace face a stern test on the south coast.
Crystal Palace’s downturn in form has stalled the progress they made earlier in the campaign, with Oliver Glasner’s men currently on a nine-match winless run in the league.
Their latest outing saw them come from behind to salvage a point away at Nottingham Forest.
However, they failed to capitalise on their numerical advantage, as their ongoing inefficiency in front of goal came to the fore once more.
The Eagles sit in the lower half of the table, with their European ambitions fading as the season approaches its decisive phase.
Nevertheless, a positive derby result could provide the psychological lift needed to get their season back on track.
Brighton have endured their own inconsistency under Fabian Hurzeler, drawing more matches than any other side in the division this season (10).
The Seagulls remain within touching distance of the top half but know victory is essential to maintain hopes of climbing the standings during the run-in.
Brighton have won just two of their last 13 Premier League meetings with Crystal Palace, although both victories during that period came at the Amex Stadium.
Palace have enjoyed improved fortunes in this fixture recently, winning two of the last three encounters after managing just two victories in the previous 12 meetings.
Since the start of December, both clubs have collected only nine Premier League points, with only two teams earning fewer during that period.
Palace have struggled particularly in front of goal, scoring just five league goals since matchday 16, while underperforming their expected goals by more than eight.
Brighton boast an impressive home record, losing only two of their last 20 league games at the Amex.
Key duo Jean-Philippe Mateta and Eddie Nketiah are both unavailable, leaving Glasner short of recognised centre-forward options.
Adam Wharton returns to the starting line-up after serving his suspension.
The 22-year-old’s composure and progressive passing should provide Palace with improved control in central areas.
Cheick Doucoure and Daichi Kamada remain sidelined through injury, further limiting Glasner’s midfield choices, while several fringe squad players are also unavailable.
Dean Henderson; Chris Richards, Maxence Lacroix, Chadi Riad; Daniel Munoz, Will Hughes, Adam Wharton, Tyrick Mitchell; Ismaila Sarr, Brennan Johnson; Yeremy Pino.
