Daniel Farke expects a quiet finish to Leeds United's January business, but his son Luis Engelns has completed a deadline-day switch to Hoffenheim from Paderborn.

According to Sky Germany, the 18-year-old midfielder has joined with immediate effect after a successful medical and full agreement with Paderborn.

He can operate in several midfield roles and hopes to step into the top flight. Reports have suggested he is seen as a back-up option and a player for the future.

Leeds added Facundo Buonanotte on loan from Brighton and Hove Albion, and the Argentina international has already featured in the draw at Everton and Saturday's home defeat against title favourites Arsenal.

Jack Harrison has joined Fiorentina on loan, a switch that could become permanent in the summer if he can help his temporary side win their fight against Serie A relegation this season.

Teenage forward Harry Gray has also left on loan to League One Rotherham United for the rest of the season, and the 17-year-old has scored against Northampton Town and Exeter City to help the Millers claim successive wins over the last week.

Time is short for any further business at Elland Road, with the seven pm deadline looming.
