Evelin Bonifácio has linked up with the Brazil women’s national team in Itu for a training camp during this FIFA window, which runs until Saturday 20, according to Diario Do Peixe.

The Santos playmaker returns to the senior squad, having made her debut while Brazil won the FIFA Series in April.

Brazil have begun preparations for the 2027 World Cup, which will be hosted in Brazil. Although the tournament is a year away, head coach Arthur Elias has only four FIFA windows left to bring his group together. Before heading to the interior of São Paulo state, the team played two friendlies against the United States.

Evelin is one of 29 players called up. She is already part of the Sereias da Vila first team and has been a starter this season. Santos recently extended the attacking midfielder’s contract until the end of 2027.

The initial list contained 30 names, but forward Jheniffer was withdrawn as she continues to recover from a left foot plantar fascia injury sustained about two months ago. Also from the first call, defender Tainara was replaced by her club-mate Vitoria Calhau, and full-back Ravenna by Serrana of São Paulo.
