FC Bayern have signed Colombia international Luis Díaz from Premier League champions Liverpool. The forward has been handed a contract in Munich until 30 June 2029 and will wear the number 14 for the German champions.

Luis Díaz has signed a contract at FC Bayern until summer 2029 – here are the first photos of the Colombian forward at the record champions.

Díaz, 28, began his career as a professional footballer at second-division club Barranquilla FC in his native Colombia, where he made his first-team debut in 2016. After two seasons with top-flight side Atlético Junior, with whom he won the league twice as well as the Colombian Cup and Super Cup, he moved to Porto in the summer of 2019 and made a total of 125 appearances for the Portuguese club, scoring 41 goals in the process. Here, too, he continued to collect silverware, winning two league championships and two cups, as well as triumphing in the Portuguese Super Cup.

Liverpool signed him in January 2022. He made 148 competitive appearances for the Reds, (41 goals, 23 assists), winning the Premier League, the FA Cup, the FA Community Shield and the English League Cup twice. Díaz has played for the Colombian national team since 2018. He's scored 19 goals in 64 international appearances to date and was top scorer at the 2021 Copa América.
