Flamengo remain winless in the Campeonato Carioca after two defeats and a draw, their worst start since 2020, according to Coluna Do Fla. Three matches in, they have a points return of 11.11% and sit bottom of Group B.
They opened with a 1-1 draw against Portuguesa after Iago scored in the final minute.

Defeat to Bangu followed, 2-1. Then Volta Redonda beat them 3-0 on Saturday 17.
In 2020 the club used their under-20 side in the opening rounds. Their best recent campaign came in 2023.
With only one point, Flamengo could be drawn into the relegation quadrangular. Qualification for the final phase is still possible.
They are back in action on Wednesday 21 against Vasco at the Maracanã, with kick-off at 21:30 Brasília time.
