The top of Serie A is very tight at the moment, with only five points separating Milan in first and Juventus in seventh. Roma sit fourth, having won nine of their 13 matches in Serie A this term.
Gian Piero Gasperini 's team boast the best away record of any side in Serie A this season, winning five of their six matches. Their only defeat on the road came against AC Milan, and all four victories they've suffered this season have only been 1-0 defeats against Roma, Inter, Napoli and Torino.
Roma's imperious record on the road should see them have enough chances to win here, against a Cagliari side that haven't won in their last five matches across all competitions. Cagliari sit 15th in Serie A and are very much in a relegation battle, with just one point protecting them from the drop zone. They've only won two of their 13 games in the Italian top flight, with these two wins coming right at the start of the season against fellow relegation candidates Lecce and Parma.
They've only won one of their six matches at home, and will struggle to break down a Roma side that have only conceded three goals on the road this season. Only Hellas Verona (3) and Florentina (2) have picked up fewer points at home in Serie A this term than Cagliari.
Francesco Farioli has done really well to land on his feet after a slightly embarrassing end to his time at Ajax, which saw PSV pip them to the title on the final day of the season, despite Ajax being in pole position throughout the campaign.
His Porto side have been completely dominant in Liga Portugal this term, winning 11 of their 12 matches - including all six of their away games. This has opened up a three point lead at the top of the table, with Benfica and Sporting in close pursuit. Porto have netted 14 goals across their six away matches this season (2.32 per game) and have only conceded two goals.
Liga Portugal is one of those leagues where there is a huge gap between the elite sides and the rest of the division. Benfica, Sporting and Porto may as well be playing in their own mini division, with Tondela sitting in the relegation zone, having only won two of their 12 matches this term.
Tondela have not managed to win at home this season from five attempts, only netting two goals, which makes them very unlikely to be able to trouble Porto here.
Martin O'Neill's short stint at Celtic is over, with the 73-year-old leaving with his head held high after winning all five of his league matches in charge of the Hoops. He's being replaced by Wilfred Nancy after steadying the ship, and the new boss has an opportunity to make an instant statement here, with Celtic taking on the pace setters in the SPFL.
Hearts' 3-1 win over Celtic earlier in the season heralded the end of Brendan Rodgers' time at the club in quite bitter fashion, as shown through the parting statements. Celtic have since made up ground on the league leaders, with the sides locked on 32 points ahead of this clash - with Celtic having a game in hand.
Hearts' early season momentum has faded in recent weeks and left them without a win across their last four matches. Despite the issues that Celtic have faced in the dugout in the early parts of the season, they've maintained a strong record at home - winning six of their seven matches and netting 16 goals in the process.
It's also pretty notable that Celtic have only conceded two goals at home this term, though Hearts do have the scoring power to worsen this record, having scored 12 goals on the road so far. Celtic have won each of the last three head-to-head meetings between the sides at Celtic Park, with all of these victories coming to nil.
Real Madrid registered a much needed convincing victory against Athletic Club on the road last time out. A double from Kylian Mbappe and a goal from Eduardo Camavinga wrapped up a 3-0 win, following three consecutive draws in LaLiga for Los Blancos.
It feels like there is a trial every time Real Madrid don't win a game, and Xabi Alonso has already come under intense criticism for his approach in some matches - despite Real Madrid sitting in second in the league and being in a good position to challenge for the title.
Real Madrid have won all six of their matches at the Bernabeu this season, so their issues have mainly been on the road. They've netted 14 goals across these matches (2.33 per game) and have only conceded three goals, which is the best defensive home record in LaLiga so far.
Celta Vigo do have one of the stronger away records in LaLiga, having lost just one of their six away matches, but they lack the appropriate firepower to cause Madrid problems here, with just nine goals across their six games on the road. Celta Vigo also have a shocking record at the Bernabeu, losing each of their last five trips to the stadium by an aggregate score of 16-4.
