Gaziantep face Göztepe in the Süper Lig on Sunday, 14 December 2025, with seventh hosting fourth as both sides look to boost their European and top half ambitions.

The head to head has often been tight, with the majority of recent meetings ending level. Across this season's picture, Göztepe boast one of the stingiest records, conceding only nine and keeping nine clean sheets, while Gaziantep have scored 23 but let in 24.

Form is mixed. Gaziantep drew 2–2 at Beşiktaş after a home defeat by Eyüpspor, having won 3–0 at Kayserispor before that. Göztepe lost 2–1 to Trabzonspor last time out, but had taken seven points from the previous three league games, including wins at Kasımpaşa and Antalyaspor.

Selection could matter. Gaziantep list suspensions for Alexandru Maxim, Badou Ndiaye, Yusuf Kabadayı and M Güneş, with Tayyib Talha Sanuc and Salem M'Bakata among the injured. Göztepe are without suspended pair Rhaldney and Ugur Kaan Yildiz.

On the pitch, the hosts may lean on Mohamed Bayo, who has six league goals, and the supply of Drissa Camara, who has five assists. Gaziantep typically see more of the ball, averaging 54% possession with 83.45% passing accuracy. Göztepe are more compact, thriving without the ball and carrying an aerial threat, with five headed goals and strong crossing accuracy at 24.06%, so deliveries could target Juan, who also has six league goals.

A home win would move Gaziantep closer to the European places, while victory for Göztepe would strengthen their grip on the Conference League qualification berths.
