Newcastle 4 Bradford 1 – Wednesday 24 September 2025 7.45pm
The photo that Newcastle United fans had all really really wanted to see on Wednesday night!
A match where United controlled it from start to finish.
They scored four but it should have been at least double that.
A bit of slack play from Lewis Miley punished by 34 year old lifelong Newcastle United fan, Andy Cook. Living the dream, scoring at St James’ Park.
Two goals each from Will Osula and Joelinton but the pair will be wondering how they didn’t get a hat-trick each.
A winning snapshot post-match.
The all important winning photo = The second of the season.
The Newcastle United Head Coach introduced this tradition of a post-match everybody included photo following each victory, as he felt it had worked as a bonding exercise when he was at Bournemouth.
It is also a massive bonus just how much it winds up fans of certain other clubs and journalists.
‘Look at them, think they have won the Premier League / Champions League… etc etc’
I absolutely love it.
At least 42 more games to go this season in all competitions, so hopefully a fair few more of these photos to come.
