Recent form

Feyernood have enjoyed a great start to the season, sitting top of the Eredivisie with six wins and a draw from the first seven games. They beat Groningen 1-0 on Saturday but did lose their first Europa League game of the campaign 1-0 to Braga.

Villa picked up their first Premier League win of the season on Sunday, beating Fulham 3-1, and are unbeaten in the last three games in all competitions.

What’s been said?

Feyernood boss Robin van Persie: “Aston Villa is obviously a fantastic team with a fantastic manager. That’s beyond doubt. They’re super fit and play very structured. I think we are too. Based on that, it won’t be a chaotic match.”

Villa head coach Emery: “It’s important that we are consistent and focused for the full 90 minutes because it is our first away game in the Europa League and we’re against a prestigious team. They are going to be so motivated, so tomorrow will be a huge test for us collectively and individually.”
